You may have 5 or 10 employees but only one POS terminal. So how do you know which employee has made a given sale? Whose tips are those? Who is making customers the happiest?
We offer a way for you to keep track of each employee’s performance during their shift each day. By beginning a session at the start of their shift they are then operating the POS device under their own names, and you and your employees can see how much business they did, and more.
Start a new session
Your cashiers can enter their own private PINs to start new sessions each day. We recognize which cashier is logging in based on their PIN.
To use PayXpress+ it is required to be logged into a session, meaning that if the last user has closed their session, you will need to start a new session in order to use the POS.
To start a new session, tap the screen on the PIN line, enter your PIN and tap “Open session”:
You are now ready to operate the POS terminal.
Print activity and status of current session
A cashier may want to see how his or her shift is going. A ticket can be printed showing the current session at any time.
To print a ticket on the current session, tap “Print activity and status”. You see a preview of the ticket, which you can print, if desired.
Close session
Your cashier can close the session at the end of his or her shift, printing a ticket with useful information.
To close a session, tap “Close session” and then confirm. Printing a ticket is optional.
